RAYMOND'S PEANUT BUTTER BONES

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

1 1/2     cups whole wheat flour
3/4        cup all purpose flour
1/2        cup oatmeal, uncooked
1           egg, well beaten
1           cup peanut butter
3/4        cup milk

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, reserving 1/2 cup of the whole wheat flour. Mix until a ball is formed, adjusting with the remaining flour.

Sprinkle a little flour on your work surface, turn out the dough and knead for 2 or 3 minutes. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin until it is evenly 3/8" to 1/2" thick. Cut into dog bone shapes and place on a greased cookie sheet. Re-roll and cut the remaining dough until all of it is used.

Bake for one hour, turn off oven and let biscuits remain there for another hour until very hard.
