ESPRESSO DRINKS

The following drinks can be made in whatever sized mug or cup suits your taste. You can adjust the strength of any of these drinks by either using more or fewer espresso shots or by using more or less milk or water to dilute the espresso.

Americano:

  • Slowly pour one or more freshly brewed shots of espresso into a cup of hot water. Adjust the amount of hot water to your taste. Add cream and sweetener if you like.

Breve:

  • Pour warm, steamed half & half over one or more freshly brewed shots of espresso.

Cappuccino:

  • Traditionally one-third espresso, one-third steamed milk, and one-third milk foam. Pour the steamed milk over the freshly brewed shots of espresso; then top with milk foam. Some people prefer more foam or even just espresso and milk foam -- no milk.

Latte:

  • Pour warm, steamed milk over one or more freshly brewed shots of espresso.

Macchiato:

  • Slowly pour one or more freshly brewed shots of espresso into a cup, then top with a small dollop of milk foam.

Mocha:

  • Pour warm, steamed milk poured over one or more freshly brewed shots of espresso that have been mixed with a good quality chocolate.
