DAVID'S PECAN PIE

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Prepare an unfilled 9-inch pie shell (see David's Pie Crust) and refrigerate it.

Cream together:

   1/3         cup butter
    1           cup brown sugar

Beat in, one at a time:

    4           eggs

Stir in:

    1/2       cup light corn syrup
    1/2       cup dark corn syrup
    1          cup broken pecans
    1          teaspoon vanilla
    1/2       teaspoon salt

Pour everything into the pie shell. Bake for about 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
